Mouse Antithrombin

Antithrombin III is a glycoprotein that is responsible for the physiological inhibition of thrombin and Factor Xa. This inhibition is magnified by 300-1000 fold in the presence of heparin. This antihrombin is prepared from plasma through a cascade of chromatographic steps.
