Mouse Fibrinogen

The soluble form of fibrinogen is cleaved by thrombin forming insoluble fibrin. The monomers of fibrin polymerize into a network and serving as the final step in the coagulation cascade. This fibrinogen is prepared from fresh plasma through a cascade of chromatographic steps.
